Don't miss it!

Théâtre à l'Envers presents four unique plays, each telling its own story with a distinct style and captivating performances. Immerse yourself in the magic of live theatre like never before.

Mwana and the Turtle's Secret

Inspired by an African folktale, this story follows Mwana, a courageous little girl, and Koba the tortoise, her faithful friend. Together, they confront Satongué, a monstrous thief who raids their village's food store night after night. Alone against this giant, she must use her ingenuity and uncover a secret unknown to the villagers. Staged with shadows, objects, and puppets, this tale celebrates the courage of the smallest among us.

Sans Voix [in progress]

A reserved teenage girl befriends a new student at her high school. Between flirtatious games and a quest for recognition, they both fall under the influence of an enigmatic figure, Media, who leads them to confuse beauty, popularity, and personal values. Both drawn into social media and the need for peer acceptance, their search for love and identity will be shaped by misinformation, validation, and disillusionment.

The Little Girl and the Birds

A little girl follows a mysterious bird and discovers a secret cavern in the hollow of a tree. A magical bag fills with birds that she must guide to freedom. Guided by her intuition and courage, she follows the bird's trail, which leads her to discover her own music and her own path in life.

Woânda

When Woânda, a mischievous frog, takes up residence in the sink pipes, the daily life of Laura, a lively and dreamy little girl, is turned upside down. Between her mother's illness and the loss of her lucky ring, Laura takes refuge in the imaginary world of her paintings and clings to her newfound friendship with this amphibian to soothe her sorrow and get through the difficult trials that await her.
