2021: The Voice of the Golden Shell

This shadow puppet film, created collaboratively remotely between Theatre Sans Frontières (England) and Théâtre À l’Envers during the pandemic, tells the story of a teenage game where a boy is drawn in by the voice of a sea siren. Inspired by African folklore and the works of Hans Christian Andersen, this film was presented at the Montreal International Children’s Film Festival and in England.

2018: Mô-Namour

In 2018, Théâtre À l’Envers created MÔ-Namour, an adaptation of Claude Ponti’s tale for children aged 4 to 9. Through puppetry and visual arts, the show sensitively addressed the themes of violence, resilience, and hope.

2016: Lifting the veil on hypersexualization

In 2016, Théâtre À l’Envers collaborated with Maison d’Haïti on the Juste pour Elles program to raise awareness among young girls about hypersexualization. Through theatre, dance, and visual arts, participants explored respect for the body and self-love, leading to the creation of the show The Little Mermaid.
