2016: Lifting the veil on hypersexualization

In 2016, Théâtre À l'Envers launched a project to raise awareness among young women about hypersexualization. To this end, the company partnered with Maison d'Haïti as part of the Juste pour Elles program. The workshops, led by four artist-facilitators—Emmanuelle Calvé, Marie-Ève Lefebvre Legault, Cécile Viggiano, and Patricia Bergeron—explored themes such as body respect and self-love through theatre, dance, and visual arts. The young women involved were subsequently invited to participate in the creation of the show * La Petite sirène * (The Little Mermaid ), a performance developed as part of the creative thesis of Patricia Bergeron, artistic director of Théâtre À l'Envers.
Patricia was then interviewed as part of the special feature: Women in the Spotlight, published in 2016 by the cultural mediation team of the City of Montreal: http://montreal.mediationculturelle.org/lever-le-voile-sur-lhypersexualisation-des-jeunes-filles/
