The director returns to the stage

Discover the magic of our theatrical adaptation inspired by the 20th-century philosophical masterpiece, The Little Prince! We are proud to have presented this play, which was a true pleasure to stage with a group of 5th-grade students from Ahuntsic School.

Working with such an exceptional group of students and two teachers as dedicated as their homeroom teacher and drama specialist was an incredibly enriching experience. Every member of this team contributed to making this project a unique human adventure. Theatre demands intense teamwork where ego is set aside to make room for trust and collaboration. It's a journey filled with uncertainties and challenges, but it's also an experience where everyone grows together. Our students formed a united and supportive team.

Synopsis

Antoine, an aviator flying over the Mediterranean, crashes in the middle of the desert. A little boy approaches: "Draw me a sheep"... This is an adaptation of The Little Prince where Saint-Exupéry himself experiences before our eyes his encounter with the strange hero who, from planet to planet, completes his famous initiatory journey.

With humor and delicacy, this demanding path towards friendship, and the pain of its loss, resonates strongly in today's anxious world: accepting the Other as he is, is the difficult journey that is being discussed here.
